Bursaries

Cifton Hall School is delighted to announce a new, discretionary Bursary Award Initiative.

Intended to help lower income families benefit from an independent education, we have several bursaries now available, offering up to 75% reduction on fees, related to financial need. Should you wish your child to attend one of Scotland's foremost independent schools and would seek assistance to do so, contact us today and request an application form. Clifton Hall makes 3 bursary places available in each year group. Please contact us at the earliest opportunity.

Rod Grant, Headmaster, stated,

"I think, for too long, independent education has been seen as elitist and non-inclusive. At Clifton Hall we want to ensure that we are seen as a positive partner within our local communities. The new Bursary Scheme is intended to highlight our commitment to all families in the community, as applications will be welcomed from all.

Clifton Hall is an independent school that is not elitist. Children who attend are well mannered and courteous but above all, the school is a place where children are happy and secure and can realise their potential. Over 80% of our children come from homes in West Lothian and we want to extend that percentage even further."
