Scottish Council of Independent Schools

SCIS is an organisation founded in 1978 to represent the independent sector in education in Scotland. Today, it supports 96% of independent educational institutions in Scotland, including Clifton Hall School.

Being affiliated with SCIS gives CHS channels to:

  • Have a say with government bodies in charge of education.
  • Get advice with legislation regarding independent schools.
  • Receive support developing the curriculum and staff training.
  • Give parents and the general public the information they need.
